Bonne Bay - Newfoundland - Canada

Bonne Bay is a small bay located approximately in the middle of the west coast of Newfoundland. It is a place with panoramic high mountains and good views of the "Tablelands" (mountain formation ending plateau that emerged from the collision of American and European tectonic plates there are over 300 million years). Bonne Bay is

on maps from the late 17th century under the name of Belle Bay. Because of the depth of water in the bay, and the relative absence of ice, the boats were fishing in the French entrance to the bay.

Today it is situated within Gros Morne National Park, largest park in Newfoundland.
