Baddeck is a village in Victoria County, Nova Scotia, employing 907 people in the 2001 census. Baddeck is located on the north shore of Bras d'Or 77 km west of Sydney.
The Cabot Trail, known as "Cabot Trail begins and ends at Baddeck. Named after the famous explorer John Cabot, the trail winds along the coast north of Cape Breton and climbs to the plateaus that overlook the National Park Highlands Cape Breton. This road is carved into the hillsides that rise above the waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
inventor Alexander Graham Bell, to whom we owe the phone, are built his summer home.
The Bell Museum, the stunning scenery and sailing are the main attractions in Baddeck.
