Norris Point is a city of Newfoundland situated at the gates of Gros Morne National Park. The community was named after the man, Nedda Norris, the first white man to settle in this region. Norris Point Lookout Jenniex and Heritage House are a delight for photographers with breathtaking views of Norris Point and Tablelands. The Tablelands were designated a World Heritage Site in 1987.
Norris Point is located just next to the Viking Trail, Route 430, which rose by L'Anse aux Meadows and St. Anthony on the northern tip of Newfoundland south to Deer Lake. The city lies at the heart of the western tourist boom.
