Stouffer Outlet Store Hours Solon Ohio

Tokyo Midtown in Tokyo part 1

Friday night I finally passed see Midtown.

No excuse for not having been there earlier, but here the delay finally catching up.

And contrary to what one can read both sides of the net, I really like the concept.

Deja, I find the architecture more successful than that of Omotesando Hills (not very hard it says ...). Even if the tower lacks a bit of light, the materials provide a friendly atmosphere and we do not feel totally claustrophobic.

I have not had time to explore more than 3 floors but I must say I am quite impressed:

First, the store Restir with its exhibition of Chanel's 2.55 the entrance is worth the detour.

The staging is certainly a bit pompous and vain, but I must admit that the door and the atmosphere very "private club" doing their small effect.

And above all, there's the floor.

In a decor Velvet (with corridors and private rooms), a relevant choice of clothes, books, underwear etc. rogues.

Halfway between Loveless and Sonia Rikyel.

Inside, I was most marked in the basement as the most luxurious shops on upper floors (Lucien Pellat-Finet, chloe, Via Bus Stop ...): good, the Muji as expected only up to half its promises (not super big and not offering much that we can not find at major chain stores), but a new Sadaharu Aoki Tokyo is always a pleasant surprise, as is the Dean and Deluca (I have a weakness for this shop, I admit) or even a simple open Precce 24/24 (which will no longer have any excuses not to bring the races has home?).

Suddenly, I even took the opportunity to register a pastry lesson in passing, report next Tuesday, no doubt!

Second good news, the shops close at 21 hours (maybe only at the beginning?) So going there in the evening, we avoid the crowds, if any.

Moreover, they really piled on the host, still higher than Japanese standards already very high.

I feel that I will soon return, even if only for the Suntory Museum, not yet discovered or to other areas of design I have not had time to see.
