Dufferin Terrace was created in 1879 at the initiative of Governor General of Canada, Lord Dufferin.
The architect who designed Charles Baillargé kiosks and street lamps that illuminate the iron balcony.
This terrace which gives the city an air of resort is 671 meters long. This is one of the main attractions of Quebec City and a place to go very popular. A stunning panorama of the river, the south shore and the island of Orleans opens from the terrace.
