Away in the forest ... The
In this new column, I'll find some places that I have used to attend.
To get in shape or as a simple walk in the afternoon, there are several small remote parts of Quebec where you can practice walking in the forest. Stoneham resident for several years, I found near trails where you can practice walking or snowshoeing.
Here are 4 places that I hope will make you want to take the air out by ensoleilllées days.
Parc du Mont-Wright :
You have an hour and a half to go, you escape the Parc du Mont-Wright. Located 30 km from downtown Quebec City, this mountain offers groomed trails of six easy to intermediate that allow you to climb the mountain to reach a lookout point where you can see the beauties of nature.
In addition, the walls adapted for climbing enthusiasts are easily accessible and allow you to climbing throughout the year.
The Swamp North
Well known by fans of Ornithology, the paths of the Marais du Nord, located in Lac-Delage, are all designated locations if you want to meet more than 159 species bird of Quebec.
If you have a family activity to predict, these places offer several trails from easy and short to suit the kids.
Park Jacques-Cartier:
For most hardened as beginners, the Jacques Cartier Park is the place designated for a multitude of sports in the forest. Hiking, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing are just a few activities that this beautiful mountain has to offer. Located 30 km from Quebec toward the Saguenay, this park offers 13 miles of marked trails and groomed by a snowmobile.
Trail Line-d'horizon:
From cruising the shores of Lac-Beauport, Gentian Park offers the opportunity for hikers to practice their sport in one of four intermediate trails. With approximately 12 km, you can explore the trails by taking the time to stop in one of the many viewpoints that overlook Lac-Beauport offering a magnificent view of the region.
So I hope one of these places has captured your attention to the point of going to explore it for yourself.
I know that the Quebec City area is full of parks and trails where you can go walking and enjoy nature, so I find others to venture myself. I await your suggestions ...
